HISTORY

After completing an undergraduate in accounting Mike obtained his certified public accountant license and practiced as a tax specialist prior to pursuing a life-long dream of studying law. He attended Samford University, Cumberland Law School, and was awarded a doctorate of jurisprudence in 1986. After graduation from law school he completed a one-year clerkship with the Alabama Supreme Court. From 1987 until 1993 Mike worked as an associate attorney with the law firm of Cherry and Givens. Mike began private practice in 1993.

The Young Drug Company building, one of Dothan's more noticeable and historic landmarks, was acquired by Mike for renovation into office space. The building was originally completed in 1914, prior to the paving of Main Street. The community proudly referred to it as Dothan's Skyscraper.

The Gamble Law Firm, occupied its newly refurbished building in June of 1994.
